Research in our lab focuses on plant-microbe interactions and soil ecology. We study above and below ground systems to address a variety of different environmental challenges from biodiversity conservation to sustainable agriculture to climate change.
The lab is located at DePaul University in the Department of Environmental Science and Studies in Chicago, Illinois, USA
Students interested in doing research in the lab should email a resume, unofficial transcript, and brief statement of research interests to firstname.lastname@example.org
MycoDB published in Scientific Data
MycoDB, the largest ecological meta-analysis database, contains data from over 4000 mycorrhizal inoculation experiments - linked to plant and fungal phylogenies - and can be used to analyze the ecological and evolutionary contexts in which mycorrhizal fungi are beneficial to plant hosts. You can download the data here and it's full description here. Enjoy, explore, discover!
I was interviewed by National Geographic Magazine in honor of World Soil Day. Check out the cool article here!
